Black Fire Safety is an independent fire safety consultancy based near Peterborough, offering specialist services in fire risk assessment and fire strategy planning. Founded by David Black – a qualified fire risk assessor with over 30 years’ experience in the fire safety industry – the company serves businesses and building owners across Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and surrounding counties. Our team provides comprehensive, unbiased advice (we do not sell or install fire equipment), ensuring you get an honest appraisal of fire hazards and the most effective safety measures.
Fire Services
We regularly work with schools, residential apartment blocks and flats, nursing and care homes, and Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs). In fact, Black Fire Safety’s client base includes numerous educational facilities, care homes and multi-occupied residences. These sectors have particular fire safety needs – for example, blocks of flats and HMOs must meet strict standards for communal fire precautions – and we tailor our assessments accordingly.
